JB, the reason you were unable to find the Samsung chip story on Samsungs website tells me that Samsung has not put out an official press release covering 1x chip releases. Last week a MLynch analyst, using this very article, said QCOM could lose up to 19% of their business over time if Samsung were to make all of their own chips(very unlikely). Nokia and now Samsung employees tend to say things in articles that are never confirmed with company press releases. Much of Samsungs success(handsets) is due in part to QCOM chipsets. This relationship continues today.
