Maybe .. ;) ........He isn't. .....but my feeling of Francis, as i know him now is that he feels a kind and decent chappie .. he's stuck .. he's misguided .. shrug,
Maybe he isn't 'stuck' & 'misguided'. Maybe He knows exactly how he feels and he will defend how he feels .. Stuck? Yes, He is a Catholic . .I don't see him changing ... ;) ....Is he conservative? .. Yes, why not? ... The Catholic church is basically conservative ... ..
I just happen to like him! .. I think He is JUST what the Church needed. I'm not even sure it's important that "He Reform" the Church ... .. I dunno .. to each his calling or something like that .. .I was very much impressed by his 'Protecting' a, was it a priest? .. I don't remember .. but someone he had asked to come to the Vatican to work there . .and OH my God! .. the Clucking bagan ... ;) .. "he was a homosexual, they said"! .. And doesn't Francis KNOW IT?" .. !!!! . .and OF COURSE "He knows it" .. because "He gets all these investigative papers" sent to him once he tell 'someone who he is thinking about .. So He didn't care ... He said! .. "He wanted him anyway, that he had looked into the 'stories" .. and found them lacking in evidence (something wonderful like that) and that He wanted him to come to work here ANYWAY" .. then he gave one of his infamous little chats .. .about (these are my words now, but you'll get the idea ... ;) ) ... " Listen here, we Do NOT punish homosexuals ... for being homosexual.. We ARE ALL called to CHASTITY... . and we ALL sin IF we break that Promise . .!" . .Now he was much more great! with his words ... but he was kind and he reminded everyone in that place in Italy ... of what was important .... and by god he went ahead and promoted that guy anyway .. and there was STILL talk when he went to Brazil! ... ;) and yes, He did go toa Favala .. (something spelling like that) which means POVERTY ! .. in the maximum ... ..his trip to Brazil, imo, was flawless ... .Maybe just maybe .. .it's just his mission or whatever you call it . .To inspire and to love and to show humility as our beloved John Paul did .. I dunno ... .. so far so good ... but then, I'm not expecting anything from him ... ;) . .except to be an Ambassador of Peace and Yes, love of people .. .. yeah.........I'm crazy that way. .! I used to cry when I would see Pope John Paul go places and how he would talk to the young people etc.. etc.. now this man is starting at an older age .. more like The Holy GrandFather.. I wish him well ........and I wish the world well that he visits ... the evil will still be there .. .for the next ... "I welcome your hate man" ... ;) ... or some such 'clear the decks guy" .... ;) I dunno, he either will or he won't .... I don't think it's a job requirement I don't know why If you have a pervert working for you, you need a Pope to tell you to do the right thing... but that's just me .. and I'm not a member of the church .. so I just do not understand all that globity glook .. and I don't have to .. I only have to understand to put pressure on these bad guys to have them call in the law .. and be punished including the ones who protected the criminals ... .. personally, I don't see what any of that has to do with Pope Francis (s) job .. yeah, I admit ........I'm a sucker for a big ole Loving .. Giving man .. can't help myself .. I had a Father like that ........so always admire a guy like that, yes I respond. Benedict? .. If anything I think (I'm ashamed to say) that I even felt some hostility towards him ... and the people who elected him ... Like GAWD .........why? ... sheeesh! ... .. big big mistake .. particularly at that time . .well actually imo personal feeling .. .anytime .. he just wasn't Pope material ................;-)
