ehhh you never know they did win the bid to be the FBO of busiest Heliport in the U.S.A in 2008. maybe they did win a bid for a bigger airport and we just do not know it yet because it has not yet been finalized. KAVP is a medium sized airport and their are probably around 100 busier airports in the U.S.A.... all jsut hopeful speculation
Worst case is that management got caught off guard and another FBO company signed a lease agreement with KAVP and now SKAS does not have headquarters...
Best Case is that with the merger/aquistion consulting firm they hired in May of 2012 http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=52229423 actually paid off and found a better Airport to be the FBO of and Management is using the new 3.5 million dollar PNC bank Deal to finalize the deal... and the Quotes from our Ceo where not actually BS "Our intent will be to acquire companies that leverage our current infrastructure, both functionally and geographically, while remaining open to opportunities that may expand our capabilities." "They have proven, even in the short term, to have the flexibility and willingness to work with our strategic business model, which includes the potential to seek mergers or acquisitions"
