IMO by doing the credit card information for the gift certificates is a good idea because they want to keep the service uninterupted and continous. Think of how costly it would be for gzfx if the many receivers of the gift certificates did not renew the subscription and had movies out. They could keep the games/dvds and GZFX would have NO control over them. GZFX would have no way to charge them for the movies they have out and would cost tons in lost money.

bige2533 - I understand that and that is why I think you should have the right to accept that responsibility, if the person you gave the gift certificate loses or does not return a dvd than they can charge my card that I paid for it with.

I think the way they are doing this is really screwed up. And they also don't mention the fact that the recipient of the gift certificate will need to enter there credit card information until AFTER you order the gift certificate, they let you know that AFTER you buy it. Which pisses me off cause if I knew that I would not have boughten the gift certificate.

Maybe promoteGZFX wants to be responsible for what happens to the discs on someone else's plan. I know "I" wouldn't.
