Your scenario just might play out as scripted. A hit of 1708 at end of August just might work. The market's reaction to great housing data was negative. just shows how wall streets loves the muddled economy news much better. An acceleration economy is not what the street wants. they would prefer a slow and steady improvement. the 10 year note is my main focus to determine the end of this current bull run. It seems to have bottomed and is attempting to make new highs again. If it breaks out the market will stumble.
I find it ironic that everyone is complaining how ineffective the Fed is with their trillions yet when the critical mass hits and we show real signs of economic improvement the stage will truly be set for another debacle. be careful what you wish for.
