At 1/4 the price of HENC and 55% after completion of six wells...if commercial oil...this has to be a better deal than HENC...accumulating while "on sale"...

This seems like a good decision - you can bet that it will not be on sale after commercial oil is found. But right now, HENC cost 1600% more on a per Working Interest Basis...
