New info from CEO in email............ my email
"I am just wondering if the sequester impacted any of Saker Aviations current operations. Reading through local articles of last year it looked like it would have affected GCK and KAVP but even though it did pass it looks like KAVP and GCK avoided any negative impacts and kept both of their control towers. Am i right in this assumption? I'm pretty sure this is public knowledge just want some clarification. Thank you'

We experienced no impact of sequestration at either GCK or AVP, neither was on the final list for shutdown.

It does all make sense now of why SKAS was not getting love since 2011. The Government Sequester was a looming fear for about 2 years. why buy stock in a company if 2/3 of that company might be going out of business even if SKAS was providing great results Q after Q. you would not drive a Lamborghini if you knew the road was eventually going to take you off a cliff. now that the road has changed and we are not driving off a cliff we should see the stock finally start to react.

8k out i think I'm going to buy if their is any panic selling. it is misleading all this means is that they have not renewed their lease agreement with the airport yet. and how they have been hiring lately i m pretty sure they intend to renew the agreement
