The stock and the company business are essentially two separate entities. This action was on the publically traded entity...the stock.
There is nothing that should get in the way of developing the business to the degree that the stock is not needed for growth, capital or other things that the "stock" may be used to achieve...as its value will be hammered when it opens on the greys.
