Unfortunately "every so often" doesn't even happen here. Since the Microcap Fraud working group came into existence in 2010, ZERO suspended pinks have been able to file and get approval for a 211. That's well over 1000 suspensions.
If you go back further and another 3000+ suspensions there have been maybe 3 that managed to get a 211 approved and back trading on the pink sheets. NONE of those stocks ever achieved any modicum of success.
As for evidence, you may never see it unless the SEC brings administrative action or refers to the DOJ in which case you are going to be waiting years.
