The retail channel is currently facing serious excessive inventory troubles as most retailers are still unable to finish digesting their Ivy Bridge-based PC inventories and could be working on clearing the inventories for the rest of 2013, according to sources from channel retailers.

Well, which is it? Are they having trouble clearing Ivy Bridge systems, or are they keeping inventories at 60-70% of historic numbers?

Or are they having trouble clearing enough Ivy Bridge systems to get to 60-70% as a target? That sounds more reasonable, and implies they are probably at or below historical inventory levels.
