Option was attributing Islam's hate of the US to our support of Israel and Sharon, but I pointed out that they hate us long before Sharon came onto the political scene, and that actually, Russia should have been a more logical target....Russia may bear direct responsibility to the "Nakba", we certainly sat on our hands in 1948 and strictly enforced the arm embargo on the Israeli (while Britain continued to supply Transjordan, of course).
