My best B&D fell into a mud bucket so I went to HD and stood there for 20 minutes going over all the screw guns.
Finally bought the 20V Lithium B&D you have.
Had to fire my sheetrock installer so I needed a fast one.
Since a lot of my work involves backing for patches and I hate cords I didn't purchase a regular drywall gun.
Used it two jobs so far & love it.
Some of the things I like...........
The base of it is flatter then my others so you can set it down & feel confident it won't fall over.
It's not as light as some others on the market but it is lighter then my other guns so to me it's just fine weight wise.
Speed - Had another installer working with me the other day with a regular cord drywall gun. After we got the sheet up we were both screwing it off and I couldn't believe how well I could keep up with him.
That is one powerful fast gun.
After two jobs thought I better put it on the charger even though I hadn't felt it slowing down just wanted to be sure cause I got some framing, backing to do tomorrow & charger said no need to charge. WOW!
If you haven't used yours much I can tell you it will really do well for you.
Paid $79.99 for it & worth every penny.
Even though I have a love Hate relationship with HD I buy majority of my tools, materials there for expense tracking for my business taxes.
Don't know why B&D has a bad reputation over the years as I have two others which still work which I bought many years ago.
I just needed more speed & battery longevity.
You got one great deal at Bed bath & beyond. We go there every once in a while they have some great clearance items.
