Parents have a 330 and although it's chassis is common with the Camry/Solara, it is a really luxurious quick car with legendary reliabilty.

Prius is cool, but those green cars are pretty lightened up. Plus, you'll never recover the market mark up of a hybrid in gas savings, but you'll be the envy of all at your greenpeace and other tree hugger gatherings. Usually can't get a sunroof with those either. And the AC might be a little underpowered for Texas.

I have a 2004 Prius, it's been fun to drive, great gas mileage, nice tax break, no unscheduled maintenance.
