Perhaps I don't understand the technology but a label doesn't sound like something that is in-grained but rather something that is attached. I got the sense that the plastic company SSTY wants to purchase has the technology that would allow the S-DNA to be ingrained along with other information on to/into the plastic.
You do seem to be more informed than I on the technology but, the purchase of the plastic company would seem to meet a nitche in the market that perhaps SSTY didn't have a solution for.
Perhaps I will send this question to SSTY via their website for a more specific answer. JMO
