How is it that God is separate from that made in God's image as the story goes?
I think God is infinite being. Not a being, but all being. Not the way we think about a being as something existing apart or as some individual thing, but as an all encompassing force of incredible perfection. Not a he, she or an it;) But the totality of all that is, was and ever will be. As being created in that image, we are a small part of that like a drop of water in an infinite sea. That is God's gift to mankind and all that is, was or ever will be.
