Wow Wildcat, only 25. How I wish. You are one real smart 25 year old. Most people your age are blowing their money on things that have no value or lose value the day they purchase it. I'm 61 and only wish I would have started at an earlier age. There are so many good experienced teachers on this board. Listen to them all and you will learn a lot. Just working with Celtics over the last year has taught me tons. You are in a good position to build a fortune over the years to follow. I am excited for you. Go SCRC!!!
You're wise beyond your investing experience Wildcat 23, but always keep in mind, the long term philosophy (which I personally am an advocate of) is especially applicable to quality seasoned issues: blue chips and quality established growth stocks, but not for trading vehicles. It personally took me awhile when I was first learning the rules of the "game" many years ago to grasp the distinction. In reality, most inexperienced market participants don't understand this distinction and will ride them all the way down. GLTU.
