Germany condemns the overthrow of Morsi, saying "it's the end of democracy in Egypt"...while Syria's Bashar al Assad welcomed the overthrow. While not always agreeing with Assad, he is absolutely right when he said..."anywhere in the world, whoever uses religion for political gain, or to benefit some and not others, will fail".
It's interesting to hear those in the U.S. who enjoy hiding behind religion to foster their will - the current abortion debate is a perfect example - yet are quick to condemn other country leaders who do the same.
