This is not dying patient problem,

it's gambling problem. As long as gambler (Fed) can get the money, they will continue gamble (QEs) under obama. To expect gambler do something difference is virtually impossible.

So the question is, will the QE continue after ben leave office Jan 2014? The answer is yes. Obama will ask the new fed chairman to continue the QE to keep the market at high level near nov 2014 mid term election, so dem can hold the senate majority at Nov 2014 mid term election. Then obama can give his middle finger to everyone in his remaining two years in office.

I still don't believe american people are smart enough to know what these people are doing.
