goldrusher - I think EU may use a different technology for the wind towers than what ctc is looking at for utility poles - whatever it is, it does not sound like they are relying on ctc for the towers - they already have them in production and being sold..
the poles have always been a question to me, but I figure the wire business is enough to make us all happy -- if this deal works out we be very happy...
gold - Cost of the original pole design was prohibitive. I don't know where they are on poles today. The sample I saw within the last few months was for a different design - what some people chracterize incorrectly as concrete. I don't think this design would be used for wind towers.
