heybrad - first off i must tell you i did not read your entire comment for the single reason that you have not read the law in this area. i do not mean this as mockery or making fun of you, but it is true...
for example if you had, you would realize there are a lot of exceptions to exceptions....thus based upon my reading of these exceptions and then tracking the progress of the edig patent in the ustpo, i have expressed an opinion only, not to be construed as legal advice, and for informational purposes only, that the markman does not have a lot of weight.
also, please read about patent appeals and the other avenues companies can take...there is a lot of stuff out there in this very complicated area of the law...
perhaps you should read some of these cases yourself? in addition i honestly have no way of saying how this will end up - i am honest about that because of the facts presented are complex and we as shareholders are not getting enough information...
also, the question i posed about why is edig making such efforts has not been answered anywhere by anyone yet, that is to say, answered logically and coherently...
