NT....FNMA....another take on the PR:

believe Watts may want to replace FNMA with another form of backing agency
but
will shares and company be the same
don't know yet......Aug 8th or 9th when they confirm him

replace Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a government reinsurer of mortgage securities that would backstop private capital

this doesn't necessarily say replace FNMA
it says replace (backers=inserted word) with a government reinsurer of mortgage securities

they could be talking about a differant type of backing agency for FNMA....not replacing it
