thanks

I would THINK that unless something drastic happens in the war, earnings will take center stage in the next couple weeks and with all the uncertainties (e.g. war, economy), i cant imagine companies giving guidance the street will like

Zeev...

Nice call on the downturn. As I noted earlier, the ramp on the PPT stocks was gaining no followers and those stocks were the only ones going up, which could be a sign of the beginning of the end for the rally. AG never gave up, though, as every PPT stock that I watch (INTC, MSFT, IBM, DELL, KLAC, AMAT, GM, GE, MMM) was up for the day with the lone exception of CSCO which was unchanged.

I think fear of the unemployment report brought in the selling this afternoon (rightly so), and a bad report coupled with this afternoon's warnings should be a major test for AG's gambit tomorrow.

RE MU

Memory prices have gone up 5% since Tuesday. I was planning to buy at those minimum prices but had to settle for today's higher values.

If they can ramp stocks in last 10 days, DRAM is good for doubling if they say something like Tawian or Korea to claim a Sars epidemic. Strange thing fab workers would be last people on earth to gett it dressed up in bunny suits all day. <g>
