Licensed defined bandwidth. I don't know how long WiMax will take to roll out, or what its technical limitations will be for passing off signal, fidelity of data-stream, etc. Sure seems like if it was capable of competing with terrestrial digital that there would be $10+ billion going into overhauling that infrastructure and everyone lined up behind it. It's not like Intel doesn't have the cash and bodies to have reached out and thoroughly lobbied and explained WiMax.
