It is going to depend on whether (1) it is an agreed friendly takeover bid or (2) hostile takeover bid or (3) rival counter bid.

Possible Generic Pharma pursuers could be

(1) Teva
(2) Sandoz
(3) Actavis
(4) Mylan

Then of course there would be Brand Pharmas that could also enter the bidding.

The grand prize here would be Elite's Opioid Patents that will have a major controlling impact on the $20 billion opioid segment for the next +20 yrs.

As for $ value I have no idea. However even at $1 bid that would be a paltry $400 mil to take over Elite.
