Without such a pop, the charts surely looks like a double head and shoulder breakdown.

Your FORD chart looks like a classic top formation followed by a breakdown of the neckline. Complex head and shoulders, double top, rounded top, just looks toppy. It is well below the 50 day MA. On the other hand the RSI(14) says it is oversold. I know little about FORD but the chart alone would scare me off.
