Crescende Launches Rare Coin Collection Increasing Company Revenues by More Than $10 Million
Wednesday December 14, 9:15 am ET
VANCOUVER, BC--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 14, 2005 -- Crescende International, Inc. (Other OTC:CDIT.PK - News) announced today that it will launch a rare and new limited edition of coins for the US and world market.
"The coins will bear images of sculptures from the Florentine Master Collection of Sculptures which CDIT is licensing to tour," advised CEO Michella Frosch. "The sculpture collection's value is estimated at $165 million," she continued. "The coin collection business is a multi-billion-dollar annual business worldwide, and based upon very conservative estimates, we project that Crescende will generate at least $10 million US from sales of collectors' coins. This is in addition to the $8 million in revenues we are projecting from our Master Florentine Sculpture Exhibitions during our first year of operations with the Collection."
The acquisition of the sculpture exhibition and the minting of coins add enormous value to Crescende's income and its presence on the international business/cultural scene.
"We are providing opportunities to the public to view artifacts they have rarely before seen in public exhibitions, in addition to giving them the chance to buy replicas of some of the world's greatest art and artifacts," said Frosch, reinforcing the company's unique position in the exhibition and marketing business.
The Company intends to select eight to ten renditions taken from the Florentine Master Collection originals for the coin collections. The original sculptures were produced by some of the world's greatest Italian Renaissance masters including Michelangelo, Bernini and Donatello.
The Coin Collection will be launched for retail sales in the Spring of 2006, and will be available through online sales, the exhibition retail program, and other channels of distribution.
