Crazicajun....good point. The awards would have been done and a total surprise if Rancho hadn't found the only article/news piece of Menezes flying to Nigeria.

Much attention has now been generated albeit thru a newspiece that paints us ugly. You're right Crazi.....and it is also noteworthy that that Nigeria's top oil official, soon to be president of OPEC indicated all 5 PSC were due to be signed this week. That sure tells me that all 5 are done??? It also tells me that they could still meet as scheduled if STP gets their ducks in a row.

I can only estimate the frustration the experienced Nigerians feel in dealing with Sao Tome and their inability to make timely decisions.

There's this small US e&p company that made such a great deal re:block awards that it's causing an international shit-storm.

The articles have gotten a lot of coverage, imo and combine that with lay people learning of the West Africa/GOG oil plays within this past year and I sense that this incident, if it's not our downfall, will propel us.
