My mother used to say that if I didn't gain weight I would never find a husband.
LOL! Yeah, I thought that myself... "Boy, that Lola sure needs to eat a few more Big Macs." NOT!
Speaking of blondes... my neighbor is also East Indian but was raised in Canada and married a native Canadian. He wants a blonde child very badly but had been blessed with 3 dark skinned, black headed kids: 2 girls and a boy. Since I can't seem to get the daughter I want (I have 2 boys - one sandy blonde and the other strawberry blonde), I've offered to trade one of mine for one of his girls. As yet, he's not taken me up on it! He's going to have his hands full when those girls are teens.
I personally think whatever people see the least of is what they consider beautiful.
I'll disagree with you on that. :-) I appreciate lots of forms of beauty, but one of my favorites is smooth, fair skin which describes my wife. 12 years I've know her and I'm still crazy about her. :-) A simple "come hither" look from her, and I'm toast.
I do think life memories play a role as well. I had one favorite girlfriend who had thick, full lips (that's lips with an L; not hips - just so we're clear on that!) and dark eyes. When I saw your picture, it reminded me of her and struck a chord.
