The biggest lender in Greece has reported a profit for the second straight quarter, aided by its Turkish subsidiary Finansbank, along with lower funding costs and provisions for bad debt. The National Bank reported a net profit of 27 million euros in the first quarter, versus a loss of 731 million year-over-year from 2012. Beyond that, NBG said that loan-loss provisions fell to 428 million euros from 505 million.
