janice, Hipple sent the old records to Calif. "on what type of format...I don't know CD/Email/Stone Tablets/ Morris code/carrier pidgin/smoke signals, who knows" Unfortunately whomever did the Q's used Hipples old work as a template. Yes, in hindsight they could have started from scratch or printed out the old data and retyped it in the computer in Calif. ... but I have to admit, I did it all the time on complicated police reports,events or especially the daily Blotters and assignments . It made it much easier to pull up similar old reports and emit or just write over the previous names places ect. I would do this because if I started with a blank screen,,, the reports would always get bounced back. Using old reports as a Template I was assured of covering all the legal bases and notifications the first round. And of course the author would still come up as the person who originally drafted the report. Really? How many people even professionals know every entry that needs to be in a Q or Fins off the top of their head ? BTW.. Doing Taxes is kinda rough without last years work on the screen.
