CJ... Great Post! Whats interesting.... is the very bottom "you are not required to send samples of future lots..."

so at one point.... in the beginning phases of manufacturing: Genentech must have had to send batches to CDER (Center for Drug Evaluation and Research) for testing... review...etc

I just wonder how many lots of Bavi that have been sent out for review ... : )

Genentech under Garnick became the Apple Computer of Biotech. After Garnick's Seventeen Drug approvals the stock was selling for SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS PER SHARE. GNE (Genentech) stock PPS made a several thousand percent move during his Tenure. If there was a hall of fame for drug development he would be at the front of the list. At his age (I believe he is either 62 or 63) I do not believe he came to PPHM for the money. I believe he believes wholeheartily in the Science, and came (in his own words) to get a cure for cancer. Of all the Clinical Trials that he presided over, he said that from an efficacy (safety) and MOS standpoint BAVI was the best he had seen. He revealed what would later become the GOLDEN GOOSE OF IMMUNOTHERAPY to the world many months ago. Now the rest of the world will take notice shortly.
