Gold Market Manipulation?

Ed Griffin, Chris Powell and Amir Adnani of Uranium Energy pay a return visit to the radio show.
The recent plunge in the price of gold at the same time that Bernanke has opened the door for unlimited QE (money printing), has some gold bugs accusing policy makers of market manipulation. Are the gold bugs onto something or just blaming someone other than themselves for their losses? GATA's Chris Powell provides smoking gun evidence in support of "Paranoid bugs" and Ed Griffin explains the motive for rigging the gold price, much as Alan Greenspan explained it in his 1966 Ayn Rand article "Gold & Economic Freedom."
If gold is not rigged as defenders of totalitarian economics like J. Christian and J. Nadler insist, one wonders why those same people think gold is the only market that is not or should not be rigged. Ultimately markets prevail, which is why I am so bullish on both gold and uranium. CEO Amir Adnani who has much to do with both metals will also talk about Brazil Resources and Uranium Energy.

Amir Adnani
Amir Adnani, Chairman and Director, is a founder of Brazil Resources Inc., and since 2005 has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Uranium Energy Corp., an NYSE Amex-listed company which he co-founded. Under his leadership, Uranium Energy Corp has become one of North America's newest uranium-producing companies. Mr. Adnani is an entrepreneur with a background in business development and marketing. In 2004, he founded Blender Media Inc. where he served as President and a director until 2006. Mr. Adnani is recognized by a qualified resource industry investment advisory, Casey Research, as one of the sector's leading entrepreneurs, a list researched and known as "Casey's NexTen." He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
G. Edward Griffin is a writer and documentary film producer with many successful titles to his credit, such as The Creature from Jekyll Island, World without Cancer and The Discovery of Noah's Ark. He is the recipient of the Telly Award for excellence in television production. Listed in Who's Who in America, he is well known for his talent for researching difficult topics such as archeology, the Federal Reserve System, terrorism, internal subversion, the history of taxation, U.S. foreign policy, cancer therapy, and presenting them in clear terms. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he enrolled in the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, in order to better understand the real world of investments as preparation for his book on the Federal Reserve System. He obtained his CFP designation (Certified Financial Planner) in 1989. He is Founder and President of The Coalition for Visible Ballots, The Cancer Cure Foundation, and Freedom Force International.
Chris Powell
Chris Powell has been a career journalist since graduating from high school in 1967. At the University of Connecticut from 1967 to 1972, Powell worked in the production, circulation, and news departments at the Journal Inquirer. He left U Conn a semester short of graduation to work for the newspaper full-time as a news reporter, wire editor, and news editor. He became managing editor and editorial page editor in 1974. In 1992 Chris made an unsuccessful bid for election to the Connecticut senate. Thereafter, he returned to the Journal Inquirer as managing editor during which time its circulation grew from 15,000 to almost 40,000. Chris is also secretary/treasurer and co-founder of the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA), for which he often speaks at investment conferences in the U.S. and abroad. His calm, professional journalistic style has lent great credibility to the efforts of GATA to expose anti-market activity by the Anglo-American ruling elite.
