False press releases based upon no due diligence work should certainly be of interest to the SEC. The whole Sarbanes Oxley laws are designed to prevent fraudulent activities. Enron was 2001 - where are the authorities today in protecting us from blatant ripoffs? Or is this too small a deal to simply count? Of course, Shawn and Jerry will hide behind "we are a public company and can't tell you anything privileged."
Push as hard as you can. I have no wish to see those that flaunt the laws of the land continue to prosper. Particularly when those who shouldn't suffer, do.
