That the end of the filing week is at 17:30 EDT is by SEC rule. That is the daily cut off time for filings.

Note I didn't say that the filing would be on time as they are clearly late. But, Edgar accepts filings until 17:30 and considers those to be filed on the date of filing. After 17:30, the filing date is the next day...

I know it's picking fly crap from the pepper at this point, but them's da filing rules...
