One of the main issues I ran into is one needs to know and understand what contaminates and concentrations one is trying to remove first, and that is a moving target from situation to the next, or well to well. Then it takes engineers that know the whole picture what all the different water technologies can do and what they can not do, then one must customize the best package for each application. Cookie cutter systems are not usually the answer. And there in lies the marketing rub. One ends up being partly a design build package firm...like Halliburton.
