The green is ok, but if the point is to jolt you into realizing you are PM'ing, then it doesn't leap out at you enough IMO.

Hey, I got an idea! I don't know if this possible or not, but what if when you click "Private Reply", the box comes up (who cares what the border is) and inside the box is a great big font "PRIVATE MESSAGE" right in the middle of the box. The second you make your first keystroke, it goes away. Now THAT would be cool and there is NO WAY anyone could make a mistake with that.

What for? So the box has a green border around it...what is THAT supposed to signify? You need to separate the PUBLIC REPLY & PRIVATE REPLY keys...what part of this don't you get?
