I see Grub says to keep dreaming. I can't remember the previous discussions on the CC issue, but apparently they are worried that you would quadruple the number of PM's overnight and tax the system just based on a bunch of crap posts. Frankly, and unfortunately, I suspect they would be right.
There is one thing to be said for seeing your mailbox at a higher number and KNOWING that it is an intended message specifically sent to you. By allowing massive CC's, people would probably overlook "real" intended messages. I think spam would be a problem.
