IMO simply that there are many more holding long term. My guess is a large part of the MM holdings were bought by individual investors and many are not selling. They believe the pps is going to increase. Which is why it also seems so easy for the MMs to control the day to day pps right now. Give us some news and we'll take it out of their hands again.
