What is clear to me in AK is.
- NAK desires to consolidate the entire caldera
- LBSR and NAK have some relationship to work together.
For sure PLP and NAK have a battle on their hands with the EPA, and logically there won't be a ton of money enter the region without further resolution. However, JB and LBSR sits on the next best claim block for development. NAK knows what JB has, so how does this get resolved??
IMO, an option would be for NAK to spin out U-5 resources and acquire the remainder of BCSP. LBSR could retain a % equity of the new entity. I see the advantage for HDI to capitalize by unlocking new wealth with U-5, while hedging Pebble with exploration in better drainage region. Can HDI make a sweet enough offer??
JB can also idle BCSP for another year until NAK or say the natives or someone comes with a fair offer. Quite possibly that offer has been perpetually on the table. Or Arizona lights up the coffers and another 1-2 hole BCSP turns up the heat on the caldera.
The other thing is NOBODY here will know the what and when. Prepare yourself.
