VANCOUVER, BC--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 6, 2005 -- Crescende International, Inc. (Other OTC:CDIT.PK - News) announced today the creation of a multi-media arm to its corporation. ADVERTISEMENT
"Crescende Media will embark upon an ambitious multi-media program to provide edutainment programming on the arts and projects related to its exhibitions and other projects," CEO Michella Frosch announced today.
The launch of this new venture will be led by Crescende director Carrie Hunter, a marketing and media specialist who has a career in television and media that spans more than three decades.
"Negotiations are underway to produce a documentary television program for worldwide markets on Crescende's touring exhibitions," Frosch stated. "In addition, we will create virtual exhibitions for our website, bringing these prestigious collections to the Internet. The latter, along with DVDs of the programs, provide us the opportunity to give in-depth history on various artifacts. We will be looking to sign a major celebrity to host the program."
Hunter is best known in the industry as the President of the Banff Television Festival, an international organization she helped to create in 1978 when she was hired as the first Executive Director. The festival, now in its 27th year, had Hunter at the helm for the first seventeen years, during which time it became the television world's finest industry festival.
Hunter also has a background as a journalist, a television writer/producer, documentary film producer and a communications specialist.
"In addition to mainstream media, Ms. Hunter will be taking our company into the 21st Century with streaming media from our website and is exploring other high-tech applications for the programming we produce," Frosch advised. "The combination of multi-media with our prestigious tours will make Crescende a brand-recognition name in the next two years."
