I look at some of these old timers here and see shockingly high membermarks and I scratch my head because I read what they say and 90% of it is rambling OT one liners. Who mambermarks that??? So, from that perspective I would agree 100%.

However, the group that I'm in (Value Microcaps) is a group that moved over in mass from RB a year ago right around January 1st. Some of us were members of IHub before that, but rarely posted and had virtually no membermarks. The number that our group has (roughly 80-100 regulars) is very representative IMO of how much respect each person's posts deserve. That is what the purpose of membermarking numbers is for - I imagine. It works very well with our group even if it has been basterdized by some others.

I think knowing the MM's a person has can be valuable when looking for a penny stock trader. If nothing else, it gives me an idea of what others think about him.
