#30209 RE: Qoheleth #30199

Kard is Dr M's private company so there are no investors. It is a contract biotech research company that is employed by many other companies to help with their drug development. This type of research is Dr M's passion and the facilities at Kard is what has allowed the development (R&D, pre-clinical work) of Kevetrin and Prurisol at such a remarkably low cost and is why CTIX has the limited debt it currently has compared to other start up biotechs. I am sure CTIX is listed as a customer of Kard for development of their product line, the 8 drugs CTIX acquired rights to that include K and P. Since Dr M is basically owner of both, he can carry the costs or do other deferred payment options to allow CTIX to have minimal development costs compared to normal startup biotechs that don't have a research center and all it's equipment at their disposal.

My comment was just stating that I had envisioned Dr M / LE wanting to sell CTIX outright to reap rewards immediately and get the headaches of operating a public company off their backs. Dr M lives for the lab, though, and he would still have Kard to satisfy his craving to cure disease and bring new super products to life. Who knows if his plan is to sell CTIX outright and put the development of the remaining 6 products under someone else's watch, sell the company with a contingency that the remaining 6 products would be developed thru Kard (?), or keep CTIX going so he can develop all of them himself and see each of his "children" come to life with him at the helm.

The above musings are just the various routes I see where CTIX could be headed. No clue which one, if any, will prove true but I will applaud whatever route Dr M/ LE decide to follow.
