#218 RE: RichieBoy #217

It DOES sound trivial.

No matter how you phrase it, it's the same question over and over and over again. Why am I selling?? I've answered this question several times but it doesn't seem to sink in with you. You've become monotonous in your posts directed my way.

My strategy is plain and simple. I buy stocks to make money. (Doesn't everyone? LOL.) I don't get all riled up with a company's, or a sector's potential future growth. I try not to get emotionaly tied up with a company so it won't influence my decisions. With penny stocks I buy a stock and put an exit price on it as soon as I buy it; both as a gain and as a loss. Usually 50% gain, or 25% loss. And I try to stick to that as best as possible.

I couldn't get out of GBRT with a 25% loss because it went down too fast when they announced moving from the Venture, but I've stated this before, yet you continue to ask the same question.

As far as having faith in GBRT, I NEVER have faith in ANY penny stock I initially purchase. I only buy them at what I feel is a cheap enough price, and try to sell them again at the next spike in price. My decision to buy a penny stock has nothing to do with the long term potential growth of that company or that sector, and that's why I don't consider "faith in a company" in my decisions. If my decision to buy a penny stock was based on having "faith" in a company, I would never EVER own a penny stock, because I don't have any faith in any of them.

I personally don't care where GBRT (or any other penny stock I presently own) will be trading 2-4 years down the road, or what kind of contracts or technology they might line up in the future. I only care about buying and selling; hopefully with a gain. In other words, I don't "invest" in penny stocks. I "gamble". My investment account has no penny stocks in it and is run by a proffesional. My trading account on the other hand, which is a minimal portion of my total portfolio is used for so called "gambling" trades. IE; Penny stocks, options, rights, warrants, etc.

One more time, I hope I've answered your question of "WHY". I don't expect you to agree with me, but please respect my opinions as I respect yours, and stop asking me the same question.

On another note, after reviewing my portfolio transactions for this year over the weekend, I don't need to trigger any more gains or losses, so I will not be selling any GBRT shares the rest of this year. Unless of course the company comes out with any "significant too good to resist" announcements. If that happens, I'll re-evaluate my situation and base any moves I make on the particular PR and share price movement at that time.
