Pete you are losing it, I am sure Intel had nothing to do with Anand getting the Yonah sample or the motherboard. In the review Anand say's he has had the sample for about one month without a motherboard to run it on untill recently. It's obvoius the reason he doesn't mention the Motherboard maker is not to get the supplier/maker in trouble for violating the NDA. Tom's has been sucking up to Intel in hope of getting a Yonah sample with no luck, I suspect we will see a plethora of Yonah reviews to coincide the launch in early January and all the reviewers will be treated the same and have to follow NDA. Anand did not get the Yonah and motherboard from Intel he has not signed a NDA so he could do the preview with nothing to fear for breaking a NDA

Re: Putting up system power from cherry picked CPUs not shipping yet and cherry picked motherboard also not shipping yet

If you were to say that the numbers should be taken less literally, due to the _possibility_ of it being cherry picked for low leakage, you might have a good point. However, you're *assuming* that the chip has been cherry picked, and there is no evidence that it has.

Secondly, the chipset and motherboard were from the 945G chipset, per Anand, which is a currently shipping desktop chipset. Details of the board were not given for NDA reasons, but there is no reason to assume as you have that it is much different than currently available motherboards.
