Sandy can't do OpenCL on its GPU, so it couldn't be considered an "APU".
Why are we still talking about Sandy Bridge? Intel's been ramping Ivy Bridge for quite some time, and are about to release the next-gen part, Haswell. If OpenCL is a purchase consideration, Intel has support for it across most of their products at this point (Atom notwithstanding). They may even support it in Atom with Bay Trail.
