Sure there is. It is important to discuss the relative merits/deficiencies of the two competing companies' products. Personally, I have found both discussions interesting. Why would you arbitrarily ban specific subjects that are directly related to AMD and its competition? I did not realize that was within a board monitor's purview.
The posts in these categories are hardly off topic. When you start arbitrarily putting posts in the bucket of non-investment related business, you can easily put 90% of the posts on this forum in the same bucket. You're the moderator, and I appreciate the suggestion to reduce redundant posting, but I'm warning you that it's a slippery slope, and no one likes to be censored.
