Programming and updating 2000+ apps is probably expensive, as well as adding new features to stay competitive , which they obviously are doing very well since they are top in their field.
Revs alone probably can't pay for all that, its very likely some proceeds are used to pay expenses of MRNJ, its in the best interest of management to grow the company and keep it profitable.
Many poisonous VCs/funders are primarily concerned with the profits from the initial deal, not the long-term success of the company, as in this case.
I know its hard to believe a pink is actually doing well, since most don't, but no one is buying apps for rankings..its logistically and financially impossible, if you understood how the app eco-system works you would agree.
Apple is not in cahoots with MRNJ either to keep its ranks high, that is also a ridiculous theory.
There is quite an effort to downplay and discredit MRNJ success for reasons I already stated, but it really doesn't matter because apps are still selling like hotcakes and revs are growing, long-term outlook is very positive.
There is nothing negative posts or hostile shareholders can do to keep MRNJ from its goals..
