mlsoft, in layman terms, what does that mean when you see trades on bid side? I assume it is trading up, will bid then get higher than ask at some point? not quite understand!

mlsoft, I've noticed similarly (within the last week or so) that JNPR fell below $9 while large size blocks were hitting the ask, after which the bid was lowered. I assumed that was short covering.
