I was at the Grand Canyon today but my son was actually at the Finish line at the Boston Marathon as he works right in Copley Square. He left shortly after the first finishers thankfully and went back to work. He then heard the blasts and looked out his window up Boylston St and said it was mayhem. He left shortly thereafter but my daughter was kinda crazy because she hadn't heard from him as they shut off cell service shortly after that and my son being a young man would never think to call someone like his wife or sister and say "hey I'm ok" - so she waited until he finally responded to some text messages she sent when he could.
