Research in Motion-RIMM opens U.K. lawsuit over BlackBerry patent-Bloomberg
Luxembourg-based Inpro Licensing Sarl is suing RIMM at a London court for allegedly infringing a U.K. patent it holds relating to the relay of data between BlackBerry phones and pagers and the Internet. If the company loses the case, it may force RIMM and partners such as T-Mobile International AG to stop selling or supporting the devices in Britain, according to lawyers acting on the case.

I think RIMM is really at risk of falling behind at some near future point for a variety of reasons...most techies I've talked too have pointed out Blackberries are really not all that great by comparison these days. Research in Motion-RIMM trading halt may be settlement announcement with NTP-CNBC
